Beth Brookfield Confirmed as TEDxLukelyBrook Performer

Currently studying a BA (Hons) Commercial Music at Platform One College of Music, Beth Brookfield is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from the Isle of Wight, whose music is a perfect blend of hooky indie-pop paired with dreamy slide guitar.  Platform One College of Music based on the Isle of Wight is one of the UKs leading boutique commercial music college.

Brookfield released her debut single  ‘The Journey’  in November 2020 at just 17 years old, and after having Radio Play on BBC Solent, AmazingRadioUSA in America and more, she released the feel-good single ‘No Words To Describe’ in 2021 which received support from BBC Introducing and was featured as Voice FM’s ‘Homegrown Hit’. Beth supported American singer Arielle in 2020 and most recently supported James Walsh, frontman of English post-Britpop band Starsailor.

She made her UK Festival debut at The Isle of Wight Festival in 2021, playing four different sets over the weekend. Taking influence from 70’s musicians such as George Harrison and Fleetwood Mac she hopes to bring a modern twist to her music with her catchy vocals and guitar hooks.

Title: ‘If not now, when?’

Beth will be performing the events theme live.
